Refresher [for ohmyxhal]
Sep. 8th, 2016 11:11 amIdly, Dick wonders just how many windows he has climbed through in his life. He figures the number has to be pretty high, and if you figure in things like skylights and times when he didn't so much climb through them as crash through them, he guesses it's pretty astronomical by now. Still, with all those windows behind him, there's still a certain thrill to the act, since it's something that most normal people just don't ever consider doing.
And when he thinks about whose window he's climbing through, that excitement multiplies by about 10.
He's grinning even before he's all the way in her place, one foot just touching the floor. No costume for him tonight, just the usual civilian clothes that help him disappear into a crowd whenever he wants to-- sneakers, leather jacket, t-shirt, and jeans that like most of his wardrobe, lean just a little towards snugly fitted.
"Kory?" He calls out into the room. Just the thought of her raises his heart rate. Not a day of his life has passed since he met the alien woman that she hasn't crossed his mind, at least for a moment. The memories that Dick ties to being with her are sweet and lively and often more than a little distractingly arousing-- just like her. There's never been anyone remotely like her, and the chance to come back to that, even if it's just for a little while, is something he can't picture passing up.
"Kory?" Dick repeats, stepping further into the room.
