DC UNIVERSE Dick Grayson's life has always been in motion. Born in Gotham City, he grew up on the road in Haly's Circus as part of the Flying Graysons, a trapeze act he shared with his father and mother. When the circus ran afoul of Gotham gangsters, Dick's parents paid the price with their lives. His need for justice after this crime was harnessed by his new guardian, Bruce Wayne, the vigilante known as the Batman, who made Dick his partner in crime-fighting, Robin. A few years later, Dick outgrew the Robin mantle and created his own identity of Nightwing, becoming one of the most well-liked and well-respected members of the superhero community. Unfortunately, a group of villains exposed his secret identity, forcing Dick to go into hiding, transforming himself once again into a clandestine operative known as Agent 37, working for a mysterious agency called Spyral, supposedly guarding the world's most important secrets. |
Dick is played as much as possible consistent with his current DCU incarnation, although depending on the thread, can be plucked from various points in his timeline. He can also interact with live-action/DCEU versions of characters with a PB. I can play in action or prose, past or present tense, as needed. I'm not the fastest tagger, but will happily backtag a thread forever, so don't worry when RL gets in the way.
